These frameworks are called "Schemas". Now the ques. If we could influence them, what kind of "Schemas" or "mental organisation of thoughts" should we seek to develop!

How many times are you made aware of not talking on phones while driving? We all know why! It's or is about to be made law in many countries. What about GPS, do you think, they too can lead to distraction while drivers,reading maps, may cause accidents!! This takes us to topic Information Overload and ways we choose to take quick decision, but may be less accurate.

Such decisions may be useful in some cases, but can get very wrong. Actual data indicates Death rates no.

This textbook is so poorly written that the reader could have trouble even getting through the chapters without feeling frustrated.

Though the information is interesting, the author provides WAY too many examples. So many so that the reader can get mixed up with what the author is explaining.

There are many erroneous pictures and graphs that don't speak to the topic at hand. I've read quite a few texts in my day, and this one is by far the most poorly written. The extensive grammar errors, confu This textbook is so poorly written that the reader could have trouble even getting through the chapters without feeling frustrated.

The extensive grammar errors, confusing lines of explanation, and too many "in other words" do this marvelous information an injustice.

If you already know a lot, though, skip it as it's geared toward students. Fun personal stories by the authors and easy to read.

Social Psychology

Brilliantly organized and explained. The authors have taken great effort to make the subject matter very interesting. The book must be read in its entirety.

I loved the glossary of definitions at the end. Very handy.

Each chapter comes with example cases. It is interesting to understand the behavior of the community around us.

Some of the definitions in this book were a little unclear, which was a huge pain as this was the prescribed text for my Social Psychology unit. She co-edited the volume Collective Guilt: Life Contexts, Experiences, and Identities. Professor Branscombe's current research addresses a variety of issues concerning Intergroup Relations from a Social Identity perspective.
